Making neural nets uncool again. Cool means exclusivity, which is exactly the opposite of what fast.ai wants. They hope to make deep learning as easy as possible – including those who use less cool languages like C #, less cool operating systems like Windows (which most people in the world use), less cool datasets (much smaller than anything on Google and in areas you find obscure and difficult to understand), and people with less cool backgrounds (even if you haven’t attended top universities like Stanford University).
