Segment Anything Model (SAM) is the latest image segmentation model launched by Meta AI Research Institute. This model generates high-quality object masks through input prompts such as points or boxes, and can be used to generate masks for all objects and objects in the image. The SAM model was trained on a dataset of over 11 million images and 1.1 billion masks, and has strong zero sample performance in various image segmentation tasks.
